1WeddingSource.com is a social wedding network made of engaged couples, their friends, family, and wedding professionals (wedding vendors). Collectively they make up a “node” tied (connected) by one specific interdependence, wedding planning. The website is used for a variety of purposes including sharing wedding photos, wedding videos, wedding ideas and everything else to aid in the planning of a wedding ceremony and wedding reception.

Jason Hennessey founded 1WeddingSource in 2004, while he was a student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and owner of D. Jay's Entertainment. The website was strictly a wedding directory limited to the Las Vegas area. In 2007 it expanded to include every major US city.
