Howard Stern, 54, and Beth Ostrosky, 35, has everyone in breathless anticipation for a wedding date. The pair, who met back in 2001, has been going strong for the past 8 years under the watchful eyes and ears of the American public. Stern, very much in love with his long-time model girlfriend, has done little to hide his excitement over their budding romance; even sharing explicit details on Sirius Satellite, his national radio station.

And who could blame him? The stunning, blond model/actress is 18 years his junior and named one of the “100 Sexiest Women in the World” in 2006. While Stern manages to maintain a youthful facade through talk radio, it’s time to face facts - he’s only a half decade shy of 60 and getting older. While hesitant to tie the knot after his disastrous first marriage, Ostrosky has proven over the course of their 7-year relationship that she is around for the long haul.

The infamous, R-rated wedding proposal executed by a naked Stern approached the 1 year mark just last month. During this waiting period, people across the country have begun to question whether the couple would even tie the knot at all. These doubts have been further encouraged by Stern, who declared on numerous occasions that he was more than happy to leave things as they were and never get married again.

Just last week, Ostrosky verified that she and Stern have every intention to follow through with the wedding plans. While determined to keep the date a secret, Ostrosky did reveal that the ceremony and reception would take place in the Hamptons. Stern reiterated these plans at the GQ screening of Stop-Loss: “We’re going to get our friends together at a restaurant, very low-key . . . in the city.”

This is the second time the couple has changed the plan. Stern managed to dodge further questions by hightailing it to the bathroom; seemingly flustered after two glasses of wine that he hurriedly gulped down. Is the Sirius star getting seriously nervous?
