It's been reported by designer Roland Mouret, that the 23 year old actress is engaged to be married to the Definitely, Maybe actor, Ryan Reynolds who she's been dating for the last year. “I was just so happy when she told me. It's something that she's really wanted – to meet someone and get married,” Mouret told Vogue magazine. “She's just such a great person and I'm so happy for her and wish her every happiness. She deserves it.”

Johansson and Reynolds, 31, were first spotted together attending a cinema in New York City last April, only a few short months after Reynolds ended his engagement to singer Alanis Morrissette. Reynolds dated Morrissette, 31, for 2 blissful years before the relationship began to get rocky. In July 2007, People Magazine confirmed that the couple had split for an uncertain amount of time. They got back together a few months later to give their ailing relationship one last try before parting ways indefinitely.

Johannson also has her share of serious boyfriends, and over the years has been romantically-linked with Derek Jeter, Justin Timberlake, and Jared Leto. She also dated Black Dahlia costar, Josh Hartnett, for 2 years, but ended it in 2006 due to conflicting work schedules.

Johansson's excitement over the proposal comes as a shock to many fans who remember a time when the actress advocated that human beings weren't meant to be with just one person. Despite this statement, Johansson states that she is not promiscuous and that she tries her best to be faithful to the person that she's with.

While Johansson seems to be mentally-prepared for marriage, many are concerned about Reynolds, who jumped from one serious engagement to another. Friends and family close to the pair think that it's too soon to decide whether or not the relationship will endure Hollywoodland. According to Johansson's rep, they have not yet set a wedding date.
