    Peacock Wedding Cake

This wedding cake is very unusual and I loved it the first time I saw it. Does anybody else like this?

Three weddings to help with and not one my own! Am I nuts or what???

I like the style although the all over blue icing I can't decide upon. Perhaps a white wedding cake with the colored peacock motif and the colored flowers would do?

It wouldn't look so peacocky then without the blue. I would like to see another tier on that so it was three layers high. I adore the cascading flower effect. It must be wonderful to be that talented.

My mom would agree with that!

Lauren, if you scroll further down that same page there's another cake style that's white. Is that more what you were thinking about?

The blue peacock wedding cake is my favorite. I don't think my fiance would go for it, but I would!

If I was having a peacock themed wedding, I would like a combination of the two cakes. I'd want the main part to be the same as the white cake, and the peacock eye design and flowers from the blue one on it. I don't think the peacock motif's as nice on the second one.

I like the idea of the photos meamor! Excellent idea. I'm not that keen on fondant icing either. I guess you could always request another kind.

I like the idea of the photos, caitlin! Excellent idea. I'm not that keen on fondant icing either. I guess you could always request another kind. With you being a cake decorator and your mom a baker you'll know that better than I will.

Could you get a design like that done with a different type of icing do you think?

I'd dump the feathers for sure, ugh. Not on a cake, no thanks. I like the height of the white cake more too.
