The wedding catwalks for 2011 are not just full of fabulous dresses, they are also a good source of inspiration for the best bridal make-up looks. Here is a run down of the top five bridal looks for 2011.
- Dewy Skin: for the perfect glowing bride look choose make-up which creates natural looking and shimmering skin for your face. If you have fair skin choose silvery tones for your bridal make-up and for olive skin choose peach or gold tones. When it comes to foundation choose one which offers good coverage and with a non-matt finish.
- Strong Eyebrows: wow your guests with strong eyebrows which are a big look on the catwalks this season and are a great way to frame your face. If you have been a little over zealous with the pluckers of late try an eyebrow pencil to fill in the gaps or look at using eyebrow stencils as an easy way of shaping your brows.
- Strong Lips: many brides choose a natural look for their lips but you shouldn’t be afraid to add color for some added impact, particularly if you usually have a strong make-up look. Use a liquid lipstick sealer to help keep your color all day long.
- Cheeky Glow: aim for the perfect blushing bride look by adding hints of fresh pinky color to the apples of your cheeks. Crème blush adds a natural flush of color to your cheeks and as well as being easy to apply is long wearing too.
- Color Pop: steer away from the traditional bridal make up and experiment with dramatic eyes for an on trend look. Dramatic eye color is good for an evening wedding but can be tailored to work for any wedding, at anytime of day.
