A garden wedding is a beautiful choice, in many seasons. It’s easy to see why the garden wedding would be popular with brides, offering so much natural beauty. Whether you choose the early morning hours, mid day, afternoon or even the evening – a garden has so much beauty to offer. Your garden wedding can be stunning with lush blooms, towering trees with sheltering branches, climbing vines and so much more.

Another popular “spin off” wedding so alike the garden wedding, is getting married in a vineyard. In some parts of the U.S.A. and other parts of the world, you’ll find local vineyards that will welcome wedding couples with open arms. The vineyard wedding is ideal especially for that couple who enjoys a good glass of wine. There’s nothing like good wine, delicious food and wonderful music to enhance your beautiful natural setting of the vineyard wedding.

There are so many gardens to choose from. If you have a large wedding, try a larger public garden such as a public park or other garden venue that may permit weddings and special events. A botanical garden or nature society may be the ideal spot for your wedding of more than fifty people.

But if your wedding is cozy, an at home wedding at a friend or family member’s home in their garden may be the ideal choice. In many ways this makes your wedding even more special. You’ll smile as you walk down the aisle, remembering the happy times you’ve shared in this garden as you create yet another wonderful memory having your wedding here in this moment.

Probably the most popular seasons for garden weddings are Spring, Summer and Fall (with early fall being the most popular part of fall). Some climates make it far easier to have a garden wedding – and in other climates you will need to be sure to have a “back up” plan for rainstorms and other inclement weather. For some, simply ordering a tent for the area can be a great solution. Others may wish to move their wedding to an inside venue, especially if your location and season are known for heavy storms.

There are so many reasons to adore a garden wedding. It’s the perfect choice for any bride who loves flowers and wants to be surrounded with the beauty of nature. A garden wedding will give you beautiful wedding photographs, with lots of natural light provided by sunshine. And your guests will enjoy your wedding celebration and being in the out of doors!
