Many wedding couples today are choosing to have eco friendly weddings. There are many ways you can easily add eco friendly touches to your wedding, why not start with the wedding favors? Here are some of our favorites for you to try:

Forget Me Not seed packet (or other seeds). This is a sweet favor that shows your newly wedded love is in bloom. Staple a sweet quote about love or marriage to a package of Forget Me Not seeds (or other seeds). Then let your guests plant this wedding favor during the year, to bloom just as your love has bloomed!

Soy or beeswax candles. This is a popular choice as an eco friendly wedding favor. Many people enjoy the romance that candle light adds to any day (or night!). Giving eco friendly candles as your wedding favor is an ideal choice especially because so many people will have fun with this favor, whether lighting that candle while taking a bath, enjoying a candle light dinner or just to relax at the end of a day.

Starfish or seashells. This is a great favor to choose, especially for a beach or summer themed wedding. Our best tip: remember there are companies that sell shells specifically and if you are looking for something exotic, unique or extra large, this can be the ideal place to look for your wedding favor seashells. Many wedding favor companies too now sell seashells.

Eco friendly picture frame. We saw a great bamboo picture frame at WeddingFavors.org that would be perfect if you wanted picture frames as your wedding favor – but also wanted to stay eco friendly at the same time. Part of the fun of giving picture frames is that this encourages your guests to keep a photo of the newly wed couple or the happy wedding day in their home, a lovely gesture.
