Wedding stationery has come a long way from simple pen & paper invites or pricey letter press cards. These day's anything is possible when it comes to stylish wedding stationery, from contemporary graphics & fonts to pretty handmade invites in textured card, from the tradtional to the minimalist modern, there is something for every taste & style. What you choose should reflect your personality & the them or style of your wedding. Here are the top trends for wedding stationery at the moment.

•1. Be crystal clear with your wedding day details & have them printed on sheets of perspex, co-ordinate all you over stationery as well such as order of service & placecards.

•2. Instead of a separate wedding breakfast menu have it printed on your guests napkins instead, this will reduce costs & cut down on the amount of paper used, so it's good for the environment aswell!

•3. Make your stationery yourself. Visit craft stores or go online for wedding stationery kits which include blank cards & envelopes & make your, unique & personalized invitations.

•4. Use a personlized stamp or wax seal on your invitations & envelopes. You can even have postage stamps printed with your photograph on - how Royal is that?

•5. Have custom folders made to hold all the wedding stationery that you send your guests. Have it made in your wedding colors & pop the invite, RSVP & directions inside. Alternatively send everything in a neat little card box instead.

•6. Color co-ordinate your envelopes aswell or have them lined with coloured paper or tissue.

•7. Create your own by pressing seasonal flowers & use them to decorate your invitations. It will also tie in the time of year you get married & give a hint as to what will be in your bridal bouquet.
