Charlene Wittstock, a former Olympian from South Africa, had her work cut out for her when she hooked up with Monaco's Prince Albert five years ago. Not only is he 22-years her senior, but he is a known womanizer and has fathered several illegitimate children just while with her.
For any bride, that would be on their mind when walking down the aisle. Then, Charlene heard news before the wedding of a third possible love child fathered during her courtship with the bald, stubby prince.
It was no surprise when we heard reports that she had allegedly thought of calling it all off. But several other reports claim that she tried to escape Monaco no less than 3 times, including trying to run from her wedding.
In these reports it is said her passport was seized by police, she was 'persuaded' by royal security to return, and she was kept from walking away.
Now, the couple denies this. For awhile I thought it was BS too, made from an anonymous 'source' that wanted some cash. After all, she has known for five years that her now-hubby is a cheating scumbag.
I assumed she was getting hitched for the money, to be honest.
But then the pictures were released. I can't show any here as I don't have credit to use them. You can find pictures all over the web (including here) of a less than happy looking bride.
Even in the ones where she is smiling look as though she has swallowed something bad. In several she is crying and Albert looks annoyed. There have even been several anonymous wedding guests coming forward saying she looked miserable and kept bursting into tears.
All seems pretty suspicious to me. What do you want to bet in a few years she will come forward and say she was pushed to go through with it?
