Criss Angel Performs his Most Dangerous Trick: Getting Married

Criss Angel may not be the best illusionist in the world, but he sure is one of the most famous ones. People began paying attention to his tricks in 1997, but in only a few years his name started appearing in any conversation about illusionists and he managed to perform some very unique stunts along the line. On September 7, 2011 Criss proposed to Sandra Gonzales.

The special event happened during a family dinner in Cabo San Lucas. It seems that Criss Angel had the wedding proposal all planned out because his fiancée’s family was in on it and once she said “yes”, fireworks engulfed the night sky. The ring also lived up to the expectations: a 5 carat mixture of platinum and diamonds designed by none other than Idayne Kaye. Sandra Gonzales met Criss Angel a couple of years ago, but they haven’t left each other’s sight every since. They haven’t decided when and where the event is going to take place just yet, but when they do, we will surely hear about it.

Criss will not be walking down the aisle for the first time. His first marriage came and went unnoticed between 2002 and 2006. His former wife, JoAnn Winkhart spent quite a few years on his side, but things didn’t work out. After that, he started dating Holly Madison, Playmate and former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner. Their relationship lasted for almost 2 years, but it ended abruptly in February 2009. This is when Criss and Sandra started dating and this might be the relationship both of them have been waiting for.

The famous illusionist is known for incorporating stunts into every aspect of his life, so we can't wait to see what he has planned for his wedding day. No matter what he plans on doing, we can be sure it will be something we've never seen before.
