Jay Baruchel, the star of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Alison Pill, who played Kim in Scott Pligrim vs the World, are finally revealing their wedding plans. The couple met on the set and they spent most of the nights filming, which was the perfect opportunity to bond and form a relationship. Since both of them had crushes on each other, it didn’t take long until they went official. After only a few months, Jay Baruchel made the engagement announcement live during an acceptance speech at the Genie Awards and it is not surprising to see that the couple decided to share what they are going through with the wedding preparations.

After an initial guest list of 70, they realized that they will have to change their plans because the groom’s family will take at least 50 spots. Because the couple is already living together and the wedding is about to take place next year in September, they have enough time to worry about everything and arrange the details. With plenty of time to spare, they also need to figure out the menu arrangements and choose the perfect flowers, so it is safe to say that they will be worry free on their special day. A very competent wedding planner is on their side, which seems to have saved them a lot of trouble.
