About Ajanta Roy
Biography:
Early 2006
Two individuals
Were destined to get married
And the rest,
As they say,
Is history!

There is this simple equation of the Indian arranged marriage:-
good looks + good family background + educated + stable job = perfect match.
My name is Ajanta and I too followed this equation. My father told me that he had chosen a husband for me. Even though I know Indian culture includes arranged marriages, I started crying. How could I possibly marry a man I did not know? How could I be expected to live with a stranger and have his children?
5 years...and I think how having my husband and our daughter and this rich, rich love really has made everything so smooth. And I've thought how destined everything seems to be--as if the planets aligned on that day 5 years ago so beautifully because this was all in store. And yes, our hardships are though as if they were nothing, and all bitterness has been rendered sweet and acceptable.

Did the caterer design a special seafood dish just for you and your groom, to reflect the first meal you ever had together? Did a friend run out at the last minute to buy disposable cameras for the tables or extra satin ribbon for the bouquets? Did your wedding coordinator manage to find just the right antique silver frames and candlesticks you had envisioned for the centerpieces? Did the best man make an

Wedding programs have become more and more popular as brides and grooms personalize their ceremonies by writing their own vows or include rituals and customs from two religions or cultures. The wedding program serves a number of purposes: it helps explain to your guests what they are witnessing and makes them feel more a part of the celebration; it reflects your personal style; and it provides

Choosing Mens Wedding Rings

by Ajanta Roy on 11-01-2011 at 02:11 PM

A wedding ring is not only a symbol of your love; it is also a fashion accessory that will be with you for a long time. So you need to choose a ring that reflects your personality, rather than a ring style that may be a passing fashion or is picked up at a discount sale.
You will appreciate your wedding ring more if you put a little thought into it.

Are you a simple no-frills

Being a Gracious Bride

by Ajanta Roy on 11-01-2011 at 01:45 PM

I have said before that your wedding day should be about you and your groom, and I firmly believe that. But your celebration is also about your guests- the most important people in your lives-and making sure they share in your joy. There are a number of things that you can do on your wedding day to communicate to your friends and family how precious they are to you and how much you care about their
